Dear Tourism Service Providers!

Please be informed that by local government decree buses may park in the Buda Castle parking area only between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. AND a valid parking permit must be obtained.

The parking permit is issued by the Budavár Municipality of the First District of Budapest Capital City as the owner of the public lands, based on the application submitted by the holder.

An application must be submitted 30 days before entry (on the attached application form).
The parking fee must be paid in advance.
• in case of a daily permit: HUF 9,000
• in case of weekly permit: HUF 45,000
• annual permit: HUF 900,000

The parking fee must be paid by bank transfer to the following account:

Reference field of the transaction must include: 1) the term „parking permit”, 2) the name of the applicant 3) and the registration number of the bus!

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the absence of a parking permit local government decree orders an administrative fine of HUF 100,000 against the owners/operators of any bus waiting in the parking area of the Buda Castle.
